NEWS: The Angels placed infielder Brandon Drury (hamstring) and utility player Luis Rengifo (illness) on the 10-day IL; acquired IF Luis Guillorme from the Braves for a player to be named later; and promoted IF Kyren Paris from AA-Rocket City.

BHQ SPIN: The chaos continues to mount in an Angels’ team already down Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon and Miguel Sanó. Drury’s hamstring injury caused him to miss a few games in mid-April; he heads to the IL to give it a full rest. Rengifo has not played since May 3 due to an “illness”; losing his positional versatility has added to the challenge of making out a daily lineup over that span.
