NEWS: Frankie Montas (right lat strain) is expected to make his season and Met debut Tuesday night versus Atlanta.

BHQ SPIN:  Montas should be on a pretty close to normal pitch count, as he tossed 80 pitches last week in his final rehab start for Triple-A Syracuse.  That’s the good news. The bad news is he had a 13.19 ERA over four starts for Syracuse. That strongly suggests fantasy teams will want to watch Montas for a while before activating him. We have gradually been increasing his playing time projection as his return from his injury approached, and we are now giving him an 8% playing time projecti.
