Miller returns to Oakland pen

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Oakland Athletics
NEWS: Oakland activated right-handed reliever Mason Miller from the 15-day IL and designated right-handed reliever Gerardo Reyes for assignment.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: It took Miller more than three weeks to recovery from a broken pinky finger on his non-pitching hand, but he returned in dominant fashion on Wednesday, flashing his signature elite velocity throughout a perfect en route to his 16th save. Miller (+0.5% PT) will reclaim the closer role in Oakland, kicking Tyler Ferguson back into a setup role. The 31-year-old Reyes (-3%) was removed from the 40-man roster after pitching to a 4.50 ERA across three appearances in his brief stint on the big league roster.
