San Francisco Giants
NEWS: San Francisco placed RHP Logan Webb on the 15-day IL with right knee bursitis and recalled RHP Trevor McDonald from the minors.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Webb has been dealing with knee discomfort recently and will head to the IL for at least a couple of weeks. The right-hander has been the most durable pitcher in baseball, leading MLB with 868 innings pitched since 2022. This will be his first IL placement since that campaign. McDonald, who had an impressive season debut on May 4th, will enter the rotation to replace Webb. If he takes Webb’s next scheduled start, he’d face the Dodgers in LA on May 11th.
