NEWS: Arizona placed OF Corbin Carroll on the 10-day IL with a fractured left wrist and recalled OF Jake McCarthy from the minors.

BHQ SPIN: Carroll was hit by a pitch last Wednesday and seemed healthy enough to avoid an IL stint. A week and an MRI later, the tune has completely changed. The imaging revealed a chip fracture in his wrist, an injury likely to require a lengthy recovery process, keeping Carroll (-20% PT) out of action through the All-Star break at least. With Carroll on the shelf, McCarthy (+20%) will take over in right field, though he’ll likely see less time against left-handed pitchers with right-handed-hitting outfielders Tim Tawa and Randal Grichuk on the bench and...
