Langford succumbs to oblique strain

NEWS: The Rangers placed OF Wyatt Langford on the 10-day injured list with a left oblique strain, recalling OF Billy McKinney to take his spot on the roster.
IMPACT: High 
BHQ SPIN: Langford had been playing through the injury, but with the club eliminated from playoff consideration, TEX decided not to push their budding young star over the last five games of the season. McKinney got a start on 9/24 in his first game with the big club, with rookies Michael Helman and Alejandro Osuna filling out the Rangers OF (with ailing RF Adolis García sitting); expect a rotation among several to finish out 2025.
