NEWS: Baltimore announced that SS Gunnar Henderson will begin the season on the 10-Day IL.

BHQ SPIN: Henderson was hoping to make it back to Baltimore’s lineup for Opening Day but will begin the year on the IL. A minimum stay on the IL for Henderson is possible, but more clarity on his timeline should be available in the next week or so. For now, we’ve lowered his playing time allocation from 95% to 85%. In Henderson’s absence, Jackson Holliday is expected to move from second base to shortstop, with Jordan Westburg moving from third base to second base, and Ramón Urías getting regular run at third base.
