Conforto returns to San Francisco OF, squeezing Matos and Ramos

San Francisco Giants
NEWS: San Francisco activated outfielder Michael Conforto from the 10-day IL.
IMPACT: High
BHQ SPIN: Conforto landed on the IL more than three weeks ago with a hamstring injury and will return to stiffer competition in the outfield mix. Even with Jung Hoo Lee out for the year and Austin Slater still sidelined, recent call-ups Heliot Ramos and Luis Matos have made cases to maintain significant roles. That will force Conforto (-5% PT) into a platoon role in right field as he splits time with Matos (-20%) who will find himself without a starting job. Ramos (+15%) looks like he’ll hold onto the everyday role in left field until his bat cools off.
