NEWS: The Blue Jays placed SS Bo Bichette on the 10-day IL with a left knee sprain; OF Joey Loperfido was recalled from AAA-Buffalo in a corresponding move.

BHQ SPIN: Bichette is dealing with a knee sprain after injuring himself on a slide over the weekend. He has been enjoying a resurgent season in 2025 fueled by an increase in contact (84 ct%) and a career high 128 HctX. In his absence, Ernie Clement is expected to get the majority of starts at shortstop, with Isiah Kiner-Falefa also in the mix. In other news, Joey Loperfido could see some playing time in the outfield against right-handed pitchers especially if the team continues to play Addison Barger at third base.
