Bryan Abreu most likely to step in for Hader

NEWS: LHP Josh Hader was placed on the 15-day IL with a left shoulder strain and LHP Colton Gordon was recalled from Triple-A.

As mentioned in today’s Big Hurt column, there is no stated timetable for his return. RHP Bryan Abreu would seem like the natural next-man-up for Astros saves, as he’s having another stellar season (1.67 ERA/1.04 WHIP with 79 K in 54 IP) and leads the AL in Holds with 25.
