NEWS: Milwaukee placed RHP Brandon Woodruff on the 15-day IL and in a corresponding move recalled LHP Drew Rom from AAA-Nashville.

BHQ SPIN: Woodruff had just recently returned on June 22 from a previous bout with shoulder inflammation. He made three starts before the inflammation returned and it sounds like this will be an issue moving forward for Woodruff. No timetable has been set at this time for Woodruff’s return, as it will be seen how quickly he can get the inflammation reduced and his velocity back.
