NEWS: Cleveland reinstated OF Angel Martínez from the 10-Day IL and optioned IF/OF Daniel Schneemann to AAA-Columbus.

BHQ SPIN: Cleveland received another important reinforcement to its lineup as Martínez, who suffered a foot fracture in mid-June, returned on Friday. Martínez should resume the regular role in the outfield that he was filling prior to his return. In a corresponding move, Cleveland demoted Schneemann to Triple-A. Schneemann looked to be an option to get more time in the outfield after Kahlil Watson was demoted upon José Ramírez’s return on Wednesday; instead, Martínez will take on the at-bats that were vacated by Watson.
