2006 Straight Draft Guide

Prerequisites

There is a simple premise behind this annual feature at BaseballHQ: a straight draft presents very different challenges than an auction. We have plenty of background material in our archives on this topic, so rather than re-invent the wheel, we can provide links to some relevant older material. Newcomers to the guide will find these links helpful in understanding the history and evolution of the plan. Draft veterans may benefit from a quick refresher as well.

There is a fairly extensive library of straight draft materials over at RotoHQ. Additionally, you can review the 2005 version of the Guide. We will be posting additional links to reference material shortly.
