Let's wrap-up our mid-season one-split-away theme by looking at the stats and skills posted by starting pitchers as they go through lineups during the game.

There is a clear erosion in ERA and WHIP the more times a SP goes through a lineup during a game. The same holds true for their underlying skills, as BPV, K-BB%, and HR/9 also show a high level of in-game deterioration.
