RELIEVERS: BPV leaders, April 2016

This week, the column examines the BPV leaders for April. Not many years ago, a list of 100+ BPV would have been under 20 relievers. Today, it is closer to 100 relievers. Therefore, this year's list is cut off at a 200(!) BPV. There are plenty of other relievers between 199-135 BPVs who are pitching superbly, so don't take this as the definitive list of elite relievers. But it is the elite list for April's 6-15 innings.

Here are the closers with 200+ BPVs:

Every week brings changes to bullpens. One game does not give us much, but it gives us something, like a Jordan Romano (RHP, LAA) save.

These relievers are the ones with the best chance at profit after the first 30 relievers are taken (and after the first 125 pitchers overall) in NFBC 15-team mixed leagues.
