RELIEVERS: 2017 Sleepers

Today we are looking at sleepers. In this context, we define sleepers as someone who has skills that far outstretch the current role, and where there may be an opportunity to jump up the ladder quickly due to skills inequities within a given pen, thus providing quick profit. This year, there appear to be more of these in NL bullpens than in AL bullpens.

Oakland provides us with the first sleeper—Sean Doolittle (LHP, OAK):
