Patience pays for Ramirez owners...When we examined José Ramírez (3B, CLE) in early May of 2019 he was sporting an ugly .183/.280/.275 slash line. But his underlying skills were largely unchanged from his $44 2018 season, so we called his poor performance to that point a fluke and counseled exercising excruciating patience. Indeed his bat woke up in a big way during the second half ($33 of R$)—but which version of José Ramírez should owners expect in 2020?
