Early 2026 targets

Our last Buyers Guide column of the regular season will help you identify some early 2026 hitter targets.

Here are over 20 bats who could be in store for better returns in 2026 with a focus on those who could be available in deep leagues. We'll also include some non-top prospects who might be flying under the radar.


AMERICAN LEAGUE

Roman Anthony (RF/DH, BOS) had a terrific rookie season with the Red Sox at age 21 (.292 BA, 8 HR, 32 RBI, 4 SB, .859 OPS in 303 PA). He also fared well against southpaws in his MLB debut (.770 OPS in 98 PA). His building blocks were even more promising and included a 94.5 mph EV, 15.5% Brl%, and 20.0% Chase Rate. There's legit .300 BA, 30 HR, 20 SB upside here if he can develop more of an uppercut in his swing...
