Early 2025 targets

Our last Batters Buyers Guide column of the regular season will help you identify some early 2025 targets.

Here are 30 bats who could be in store for even better returns in 2025, with a focus on those who could be available in deep leagues. We'll also include some non-top prospects who have flown under the radar in the minors this season.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Akil Baddoo (OF, DET) won't be on any lists of early 2025 targets, but if you play in a deep league, he's worth monitoring. Underneath his bad results with the Tigers (.137/.220/.301) was some massive growth in batted ball quality (91.1 mph EV, 21.0 LA, 12.8% Brl%). That came over a very small sample size, but tuck it away in the event he gets hot next spring while battling for a roster...
