Our last Batters Buyers Guide column of the regular season will help you identify some early 2024 targets.

Here are a bunch of guys with major league experience in each league who could be in store for even better returns in 2024.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Yordan Alvarez (DH/LF, HOU) has another level of results in his toolbox. We know he's a legit .300 BA, 30 HR hitter. But he has looked even better than that since getting healthy in the second half. His solid plate skills in the first half (13% bb%, 73% ct%, 0.58 Eye) have turned elite (15% bb%, 83% ct%, 1.11 Eye) without any erosion in his power (152 xPX).
