BATTERS: Hitters to track in the spring

Let's take a closer look at some batters that are worth following in the spring due to the strong skills they have flashed in the recent past.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Michael Brosseau (1B, TAM) made some big gains in 2020. He had a .302 BA and .936 OPS in 86 AB. His exit velocity increased by almost five mph, while his barrel rate doubled. His ability to turn those gains into sustained results will be dependent upon whether he can make consistent contact. His low 64% ct% from 2020 makes him a risky play. Still, his current 448 ADP makes him a risk worth taking.

Jeimer Candelario (1B/3B, DET) resurrected his prior prospect profile in 2020, posting an .872 OPS in 185 AB. His power foundation was the best of his career (118 xPX), and it was...
