BATTERS: Embracing risk in the end game

Every owner has a different tolerance for risk. Their taste (or distaste) for gambling generally characterizes the selections made within a draft. Some owners are drawn to upside and ignore red flags, while others prize reliability above all else. But any seasoned fantasy owner knows that there are no "safe" picks, just as they know that huge talent does not always translate to immediate results or good health. Every player drafted is a gamble and the odds vary with each individual selection.
