Here is a closer look at several skilled batters in each league whose top May skills or skill components should warrant your attention.
 

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Akil Baddoo (OF, DET) had a really good May that you might not have noticed: .294 BA, 3 HR, 15 RBI, 3 SB, and .878 OPS in 68 AB. His plate skills were even better (14% bb%, 84% ct%, 1.00 Eye). His decent batted ball quality (89.7 mph EV, 5.3% Brl%) tempers hope that we'll see a big uptick in production, but the growth in his contact rate suggests he could be developing into an impact bat for those needing BA or SB support.
