New season, new tools

As we transition our coverage to in-season mode, we have a couple of fun and helpful new tools to introduce:

New Depth Charts layout

We've upgraded our Depth Chart pages in a few ways:

  • Earlier this winter, we re-organized our Depth Chart Center to give quick access to both the league-wide and team-specific depth chart views. You can always find that page via the News menu on the top of the site; it's also the destination page anytime you see an MLB team name linked in a story or other spot (like PlayerLink page header) on the site.
  • We have now broken up those team-specific pages into multiple tabs, giving easier access to the different categories of information on those pages, rather than having to scroll one very long page per team, as...
