It's that time of year. Pumpkin is now appearing in lattes and beer, folks are digging out their long-sleeved shirts, and football games collide with baseball playoff action. That also means it's time to see how Baseball HQ did in our pre-season predictive player analysis.
Here, we review the good calls - where the Baseball HQ process foretold a spike or dip in performance. Most of these commentaries appeared either on the site in the pre-season or in the 2026 Baseball Forecaster. Each provides a concrete example of how our projection model and the analysis that stems from it continues to put you in a position to win your league.
Hitters are covered this week (stats in most cases are HR-RBI-SB-BA); pitchers will be covered next week.
