GM's OFFICE: Halfway hindsight

As we turn the corner on the traditional halfway point of the season, it's natural to give the rear-view mirror a quick glance. In our terms, that means revisiting a few pre-season issues of player evaluation, and comparing those assumptions with what has transpired in the first three-plus months of the 2015 season.

In simple terms: What did we miss? What did we get right? We're not looking to pat ourselves on the back or to beat ourselves up, but discussing these issues provides us with additional insight into our evaluation processes. And maybe we'll get a step closer to our most important take away: How can we better our preparation for the succeeding go-around, in next February and March?
