Yasmany Tomás (3B, ARI) certainly received the most attention of any player to not make the Opening Day roster in the division. After a well-documented adventure at 3B this spring, Tomas was sent to AAA-Reno and will reportedly stay in the outfield. In addition to his struggles at the hot corner, Tomas had issues adjusting to MLB pitching as he posted just a 3/16 K/BB and hit .257 with two HR over 70 AB. The $68.5 million dollar man figures to be back in Phoenix soon, but Arizona's crowded outfield picture suggests there isn't a clear plan for Tomas at this point. Tomas' long-term upside remains unchanged, and his power alone might be worthy short-term stash if he now comes at a discount.
