PT TOMORROW: NL West—Dodgers dealing with DL troubles

Los Angeles Dodgers

While LA's OF was supposed to be a strength at the beginning of the season, it is now a glaring weakness. The current regulars are slashing .228/.297/.385, Andre Ethier (LF) has spent the season on the DL with a factured tibia, and Carl Crawford (LF, FA) was recently DFAd. While Joc Pederson’s (CF) ct% rate is surging, he injured his shoulder on Tuesday and is currently day-to-day with a possible DL-stint looming. His PX to xPX delta of -53 during the past month suggests that he won’t keep up his home run pace and, until he solves left-handed pitching (61% ct%, 0.29 Eye) he will be relegated to a platoon role.

So, who will step up for LA? Trayce Thompson’s (LF) bat has cooled considerably in the past month...
