The Diamondbacks have seemingly been forced to recalculate their goals early on this season after enduring a 13-game losing streak that spanned the latter half of May. While there will be plenty of time to evaluate who may get dealt at the trade deadline, at least two players have solidified themselves as clear pieces for the team’s future as they attempt to build back to being a contending club.
