Brendan Rodgers (2B/SS, COL) was supposed to be heading for his breakout season in 2022, the first where he could both stay healthy and maintain everyday playing time. While those factors have both borne out to begin the season, Rodgers hasn’t responded with his own performance. Through Saturday, he had 27 plate appearances and struck out 37 percent of the time while collecting only two hits (57 ct%). It’s far too early to panic on those skills, and it’s also premature to worry about his playing time.
