PT TOMORROW: NL East—Youthful Marlins flush with exciting possibilities

In a bit of a surprise move, the Marlins allowed Braxton Lee (OF, MIA) to skip Triple-A and join the Opening Day roster. Initially set to fill a reserve role, the 24-year-old does not warrant immediate mixed-league attention. However, projected left fielder Derek Dietrich (OF, MIA) has the ability to play multiple positions, center fielder Lewis Brinson (OF, MIA) is unproven in the Majors and right fielder Cameron Maybin (OF, MIA) has a lengthy injury history. Having shown superior on-base skills (.395 OBP) and plus speed (20 steals) in Double-A last year, Lee could soon work his way into a regular role. (Lee was sent back to the minors yesterday. -Ed.)
