Drafters have been avoiding Nationals pitchers like a gambler who owes big money to a loan shark, and it’s understandable. The projections aren’t too bullish on WAS starters, who basically fit into three buckets: injury risks, unproven, and recently bad. Still, it’s a long season and surprises will abound. For now, let’s focus on how the PT might work itself out.
