After months of free agent machinations, the cat’s out of the bag—and what a rare breed indeed. Bryce Harper (OF, PHI) has signed with the Phillies, capping a frenzied offseason by PHI. Injuries and uneven results have come to define the slugger since coming up at age 19 in 2012. He’s followed up his career-high .461 wOBA in 2015 with totals of .343, .416, and .376 over the past three seasons. That said, his floor remains remarkably high, and the embers of that ’15 season still burn brightly.

The only person in Philadelphia who might be less than enthused is Nick Williams (OF, PHI). Once slated to begin the season in RF, Williams now finds himself on the bench. Coming off 53 R, 17 HR, 50 RBI, .256 BA in 2018,...
