PT TOMORROW: NL East—Might ATL move Gattis to LF?

According to recent report, the Braves are giving some consideration to the idea of bringing up Christian Bethancourt (C, ATL) to take over as the team’s primary catcher. This plan would also involve Evan Gattis (C/OF, ATL) moving to left field with Jason Heyward (OF, ATL) shifting to center field and Justin Upton (OF, ATL) to right field. B.J. Upton (OF, ATL) would be relegated to the bench.

It’s hard to know exactly what to make of this, because manager Fredi Gonzalez has also talked, even as recently as this past weekend, about how he doesn’t plan on playing Gattis anywhere other than catcher unless it’s in an emergency. In other words, we should view this idea with some degree of skepticism.
