Last week in this space, we went over the Braves’ bench OF options. This week, we’re digging down to Triple-A, where the nuggets are big enough to attract a horde of prospectors panning for gold in them thar hills.

A month after our last check-in, Travis Demeritte (OF, ATL) continues his assault on Triple-A pitching. For the season, the corner OF is slashing .301/.403/.602 with 60 R, 18 HR, 64 RBI, 4 SB in 279 AB. His .369 BABIP is high, but Demeritte has managed a .325 BABIP over 665 G in his MiLB career. In other, less fortunate organizations, a 24-year-old in Triple-A with a 152 wRC+ would probably have been called up by now.
