PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Taillon time drawing nearer

We've frequently discussed the eventual call-ups of heralded prospects Jameson Taillon (RHP, PIT) and Tyler Glasnow (RHP, PIT) in this space, including just a few weeks ago, when it wasn't clear what current member of the rotation would be the first odd man out. Now, it's looking like Juan Nicasio (RHP, PIT) will likely head back to the bullpen, where he spent most of the past two seasons, when one of the prospects is called up. Nicasio showed flashes of dominance in April, but had a 5.18 ERA, 1.85 WHIP, and 1.8 Cmd in four May starts.

Meanwhile, Jeff Locke (LHP, PIT) has been solid in two of his last three starts, including a complete game shutout against Miami on May 30. He's not missing many bats, but has averaged...
