Tyler O’Neill (OF, STL) is back from the disabled list, but his fantasy owners may be disappointed with the amount of playing time he receives in the coming weeks. Simply put, things have changed since he landed on the DL in early August. The club has significantly narrowed the gap for a postseason berth in recent days, meaning that the concept of trying out prospects such as O’Neill needs to mostly be put on hold for now. And the man O’Neill was set to replace—José Martínez (OF, STL)—has been one of their biggest offensive catalysts this month (.388/.444/.510 slash line).
