PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Broxton running out of chances in center field?

Since being recalled from the minors on August 1 after a late July demotion, Keon Broxton (OF, MIL) has started in center field in each of the club’s first ten games of August. However, his contact troubles have persisted. After striking out eight times in 26 at-bats (69% ct%) with AAA-Colorado Springs, Broxton whiffed in 12 of his first 33 ABs, good for an abysmal 59% ct% to go along with one home run.

The Brewers have shown faith in Broxton despite his inability to get on base (.298 OBP through August 9), but their patience may wear thin as they remain in the hunt for the NL Central title. Both Lewis Brinson (OF, MIL) and Brett Phillips (OF, MIL) have seen limited action (47 and 35 ABs, respectively) for the Brewers...
