PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Brewers MIF musings

Milwaukee Brewers

Although Tyler Saladino (2B/3B, MIL) has from recovered an ankle sprain that he suffered days after being handed the starting shortstop job following the demotion of the struggling Orlando Arcia (SS, MIL), the Brew Crew’s middle infield might be in line for changes in the near future that would lead to Saladino seeing fewer ABs. Saladino and his .626 career OPS offer little to fantasy owners, especially since he is just 1 for 3 in SB attempts this season after earning 5 SB against 4 CS in 2017. With Arcia just over a week into his second stint of the year at Triple-A, it’s not clear if he’ll be recalled even if hits well in the two and a half weeks remaining before the July 31 Trade Deadline.
