PT TOMORROW: NL Central - Wiemer's time in MIL coming sooner than expected?

In last week’s edition of the column, we explored the ramifications of the Brewers’ beat-up outfield for the potential playing time for Mike Brosseau (3B, MIL). Garrett Mitchell (OF, MIL) is taking longer than expected to recover from a hamstring injury and Tyrone Taylor (OF, MIL) has been ruled out for an extended period that will stretch well into the regular season. Tyler Naquin (OF, MIL) was supposed to reinforce the position as a late offseason addition, though he’s scuffled to a .547 OPS with eight strikeouts in 26 plate appearances. Given this trio of developments, it’s time to consider alternatives – albeit still potential longshots – to make the Opening Day roster.
