PT TOMORROW: NL Central- Who will Cards turn to in Peralta's absence?

After being hit hard by injuries in 2015, it didn't take long for the Cardinals to suffer their first major blow of 2016. As recently noted in PT TodayJhonny Peralta (SS, STL) suffered a torn ligament in his thumb, and the latest reports have him likely out until around the All-Star break. The front office will certainly get a feel for what the trade market has to offer, but any deal would likely be for a stopgap option, rather than an impact player, since Peralta is expected back for the second half of the season. A minor move may not even be necessary, as there are a couple of in-house options who may prove capable of filling the void.
