PT TOMORROW: NL Central- Kang finding more consistent at-bats

Pittsburgh Pirates

The team has struggled offensively, currently ranking 27th in the majors in runs scored. Seeking a spark, they've found ways to get Jung-ho Kang (SS, PIT) into the lineup more frequently, as he's started seven of the team's last 16 games (four at SS, three at 3B) after starting just two of the previous 12.

We've noted Kang's power potential in this space a few times, as he is coming off a 2014 season in which he blasted 40 home runs in the Korean League. Since the jump in at-bats began back on April 20, he has gone 10 for 28 with just five strikeouts. He's a long way from earning full-time at-bats, but if he continues to produce more than the rest of his teammates, his playing time could continue to inch it's way up.

Almost!
