PT TOMORROW: NL Central- First base still up for grabs in PIT

Andrew Lambo (1B, PIT) has getting a chance to prove himself this spring, as he's started 11 of the first 14 games at first base, and his 26 plate appearances rank second on the team. The results have been lacking, though, as he's gone just 2 for 23, albeit with only three strikeouts. Both Manager Clint Hurdle and GM Neal Huntington are intrigued by the power potential of the 25-year-old, after he slugged 33 home runs last year. The door appears to be open for Lambo, but some production would be nice if he wants to grab the strong side of a first base platoon.

Gaby Sanchez (1B, PIT) is expected to serve as the first baseman against left-handers, and it could be much more if none of the left-handed hitting candidates...
