Since his debut on May 13, rookie Ian Happ (OF, CHC) has been on a tear and, for now at least, earned a regular spot in the Cubs lineup. Happ has started in all three outfield positions, though he hasn’t seen a start in RF since the Jason Heyward’s (OF, CHC) return from the DL on May 21.

Heyward’s absence initially seemed like an opportunity for Albert Almora (OF, CHC) and Jon Jay (OF, CHC), but Happ’s call-up and hot start (he has a 1.047 OPS in 34 AB through May 24) has further crowded the playing time picture in Chicago’s outfield.
