PT TOMORROW: NL Central —Bullpen options behind Iglesias in CIN

Cincinnati Reds

Rain has wreaked havoc on the Reds schedule the first week of the season as they played just four games in the first seven days of the season. Closer Raisel Iglesias (RHP, CIN) was on paternity leave for the first two games, but the lack of a save opportunity meant that his absence didn’t afforded fantasy owners a clear idea of who his top backup might be. On April 2, Wandy Peralta (LHP, CIN) recorded two quick strikeouts and then surrendered the ball to Iglesias after allowing two runners to reach base in the eighth inning with a 1-0 Reds lead. Iglesias would earn his first save in a 1.1 IP outing. So while it remains too early to tell who will be the primary setup man, Peralta seems to have as good a chance as anyone.

Almost!
