The Reds’ pitching staff has shown promise early on. Despite a fair amount of helium during draft season, Nick Lodolo (LHP, CIN) has at least met and perhaps surpassed expectations through three turns in the rotation (36 K%, 2.64 xERA, 199 BPV). Hunter Greene (RHP, CIN) has struggled to work deep into games, but he too has shown tantalizing upside (35 K%, 3.43 xERA, 166 BPV). Finally, Graham Ashcraft (RHP, CIN) has turned his elite velocity (97.4 mph) into at least some additional strikeouts (9.6 SwK, 22 K%).
