Two needs have topped this postseason contender's wish list for a while now, those are pitching help (like every other club) and a left-handed hitter who can play CF. While the Astros may come up short by the trade deadline, the unanticipated July offensive explosion of Chas McCormick (OF, HOU)—1.216 OPS, with 6 HR and 3 SB through 70 PA—has made him the club's most attractive trade chip.

It's no secret that Dusty Baker is no fan of the right-handed-hitting McCormick's CF defense, and Yordan Alvarez (OF/DH, HOU) remains the primary LF (if not at DH) as he returns from the IL this week. But McCormick's bat—now .282/.369/.531 through 245 PA YTD with good underlying metric support—and elite defender Jake Meyers' (OF, HOU)...
