That a contending club needs pitching help—rotation as well as bullpen—is obvious. What makes the situation interesting from a fantasy vantage point is that the Rangers have plenty of high-level positional help they are able deal, some of it being MLB-ready and certainly more attractive to fantasy managers if in another organization. Start at the MLB level, where the Rangers infield looks set for the foreseeable future. And as such, infielders-by-trade Ezequiel Duran (3B/SS/OF, TEX) and Josh Smith (3B/SS/OF, TEX) have both been pressed into developing as infield/OF utility players at the MLB level.
