We covered Hisashi Iwakuka's strained finger tendon and SEA's MLB limited rotation experience here in February, but that situation looks even more grim now. Iwakuma will need to keep the splint on his finger for at least another three weeks, and could need up to a month afterward before being game-ready. Early hopes for a mid-April return are giving way to a late April ETA—if things proceed from this point as scheduled. 

Even worse, rookie Taijuan Walker's sore shoulder was diagnosed as bursitis this past Friday, a prognosis that will shut him down for at least a week in effort to alleviate the inflammation.
