PT TOMORROW: AL West—Rotation turmoil

​The absence of MLB-ready position backups for the Angels has been well-publicized, but the mound, their rotation depth has disappeared this spring. Coming off of two mediocre years (4+ ERA/xERA) and off-season elbow surgery, C.J. Wilson (LHP, LAA) has yet to throw to live hitting due to shoulder discomfort. At last report, was tinkering with changes to his delivery and arm angle. He'll begin 2016 on the DL, and it's difficult to imagine the 35-year-old Wilson contributing many quality innings.

​The prognosis for Jered Weaver (RHP, LAA) may be even more grim. Long the staff ace, Weaver's declining velocity finally showed up in his bottom line 2015 performance. His less-than-formidable 83 mph fastball...
